Virgin Voyages Restaurants: The Ultimate Guide with Menus
If you’re looking for a cruise culinary experience unlike any other, you want to check out Virgin Voyages restaurants. This elevated cruise line delivers a fresh and innovative approach to cruising with a focus on adult-only entertainment, wellness, and sustainability.
I’m a gold-tier Virgin Voyages First Mate (travel agent) and avid sailor. I’ve sailed five voyages and have spent thirty-five days onboard. I’ll outline all the Virgin Voyages restaurants, provide insider tips, and mention my favorite dishes for you to try.
One of the most exciting aspects of Virgin Voyages is its dining options, which are so different than anything you’ve seen on a cruise ship before. Menus are curated by Michelin-starred chefs like Brad Farmerie (of PUBLIC in NYC) and Sohui Kim (of Gage & Tollner and Insa in NYC). I’m from NYC. I’m a foodie. I know great food. You’ll find it onboard Virgin Voyages.
In this guide, we’ll explore the Virgin Voyages restaurants, what they offer, how to book them, and what to expect from the menus.

Virgin Voyages Restaurants – Sit-Down Dining
Virgin Voyages restaurants do not have any traditional main dining rooms, buffets, or specialty dining locations. Instead, the brand provides a variety of sit-down restaurants that are all included in the cruise fare. All of it is specialty dining, in my opinion – the food is incredible!
Extra Virgin
Extra Virgin is the Italian Virgin Voyages restaurant onboard. And, in my opinion, it’s the best Virgin Voyages restaurant. Many sailors others share the same opinion, and this will be the toughest restaurant for you to get into.
The menu is rooted in Italian traditions. Extra Virgin serves regionally-inspired food from shared antipasti to homemade pasta, nice cuts of meat, to delicious desserts.
TIP: Get half-plates of pasta to try more than one! I personally LOVE the Carbonara and the Oxtail Raviolis.
Pink Agave
Pink Agave is the Mexican restaurant on Virgin Voyages, inspired by the vibrant streets of Mexican cities. The restaurant features a blue-lit bar, an open kitchen, and a cozy dining area. It’s a full vibe!
The menu offers a range of dishes, from tacos and ceviches to enchiladas and mole. You can also enjoy a selection of tequilas, mezcals, and margaritas to spice up your night. Pink Agave is open for dinner only.
My favorite items are the guacamole, ceviche, and the cheese-smothered steak. Many say the steak at Pink Agave is the best onboard. After Extra Virgin, Pink Agave is my second favorite Virgin Voyages restaurant.
TIP: Pink Agave is my go-to restaurant for night one because it’s typically the fastest. You’ll be doing so much that day from the Let’s Set Sail party to dinner, to evening entertainment, to the must-do PJ Party, and late-night pizza.
Make a reservation for around 7 p.m. so you don’t miss out on all the evening fun! You can watch out the window as you sail away from Miami or whatever city is your embarkation port.
Gunbae
Gunbae is the Korean barbecue restaurant on Virgin Voyages, where servers will grill your meat, seafood, and vegetables on a hot plate right in front of you. The restaurant boasts a lively and social atmosphere, complete with games and drinks. You’ll fit family style at a table of six to eight. So, if you’re a smaller travel group, you’ll be making new friends.
The menu showcases a variety of mains, such as beef, pork, and chicken, as well as sauces and sides. You can also try Korean specialties, such as banchan, bibimbap, kimchi, and soju. My favorite menu item is the seafood pancake appetizer and the kalbi main.
Gunbae is open for dinner only.
Test Kitchen
Test Kitchen is the experimental restaurant on Virgin Voyages, where you can try new flavors and cooking techniques. The restaurant has a laboratory-like design, with beakers, flasks, and test tubes in the decor.
The menu is a gastronomic surprise, as you only get a list of ingredients before you are served. Your server will explain each item as they serve it. My favorite item is the mushroom pate.
Test Kitchen is only open for dinner.
The Wake
The Wake is the steak and seafood restaurant on Virgin Voyages. The swanky décor is inspired by the glamour of New York and London in the 1950s. It’s sophisticated and offers a fantastic view of the ship’s wake. The menu offers a range of dishes, from fish to steaks and chops. You can also enjoy a cocktail or a glass of wine from the extensive list.
My go-to order is the poached shrimp with a medium-rare filet mignon.
The Wake is open for brunch and dinner.
Razzle Dazzle
Razzle Dazzle is the veggie-forward restaurant on Virgin Voyages with a twist. Though the restaurant was originally designed to be a home for vegetarian and vegan dishes, the restaurant offers numerous meat choices.
The restaurant has a colorful and funky design, with geometric patterns and optical illusions. It’s red, black, and white.
The menu highlights a range of dishes, from salads and bowls to burgers and flatbreads. You can also indulge in some fried chicken and mac and cheese. My favorite menu item is the slow-cooked lamb shank.
Razzle Dazzle is open for breakfast and dinner.
Virgin Voyages Restaurants – Casual Dining
Virgin Voyages also offers many casual dining options, where you can grab a bite to eat without a reservation. These are perfect for when you’re hungry between meals or you just want something quick.
The Dock and Dock House
The Dock is the outdoor dining beach club-like spot on Virgin Voyages, located at the aft of the ship. You can relax on a daybed, a sofa, or at a table. You’ll enjoy beautiful views of the ocean.
The Dock House is the indoor portion with a clubhouse feel.
Both The Dock and The Dock House have the same menu, which is made up of Mediterranean-inspired tapas. You can order from numerous small plates, like seafood, salads, chicken, and other noshes.
My favorite plate is the grilled shrimp with garlic yogurt and Aleppo butter.
The Dock and the Dock House are open for lunch to early dinner.
The Pizza Place
The Pizza Place is the perfect spot for late-night munchies on Virgin Voyages. You can order a custom-made pizza with your choice of toppings. The delicious personal pizzas are made to order and served piping hot.
While I love The Classic (mozzarella and tomato sauce), the White Truffle & Egg is my go-to when I’m feeling more adventurous.
You can also get some salads, desserts, and drinks to go with your pizza.
The Pizza Place is typically open from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. but check your app. You’ll find me here around 1 a.m. after the PJ Party and Scarlet Night.
The Social Club
The Social Club is a fast-casual concept game room on deck 7. The carnival-themed bar serves up a variety of hot dogs, from classic to exotic, with different toppings and sauces. It also offers wings, pretzels, and boozy milkshakes. Additionally you can also get some chips, popcorn, and candy to snack on.
The Social Club is typically from noon through the evening. Check the Virgin Voyages app.
The Galley
The Galley is the food hall on Virgin Voyages, where you can find a range of cuisines and dishes to suit your taste. This food hall has different stations, each with its specialty and theme. You can order from any of the stations, and either eat at the communal tables or take your food to go.
The Galley itself is open 24/7. Some eateries inside operate at specific times.
The Daily Mix
The Daily Mix is the lunch or dinner station for salads that offer a variety, such as chicken salad and soup specials. You can customize your salad with your choice of ingredients.
For breakfast, you can find a variety of bagels, breads, and oatmeal with toppings.
Diner & Dash
Diner & Dash is a 24/7 station for American classics on Virgin Voyages that offers a range of dishes. It delivers an all-day breakfast with eggs, omelets, bacon, and more.
For dinner, you can expect burgers and other specials, like roast beef sandwiches and beef wellington.
Bento Baby
Bento Baby is the sushi bar on Virgin Voyages. The wonderful galley staff serves the rolls in easy-to-grab bento boxes, hence the name!
Though the sushi quality isn’t what I’m used to back home in NYC, it’s pretty good. I always opt for the Spicy Tuna Roll.
Bento Baby serves fruit boxes instead of sushi at breakfast time.
Let’s Taco Bout It
Let’s Taco Bout is a Mexican fast-casual option on Virgin Voyages. For breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the station offers a range of tacos and burritos, all with a side of chips and salsa.
The avocado burrito is my favorite breakfast onboard.
Noodle Around
This one is for the Asian noodle lovers. Enjoy Miso Udon, Tonkotsu Ramen, or Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen at any time.
Hot Off the Press
Hot Off the Press is the sandwich bar on Virgin Voyages. With a similar menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, you can expect avocado toast, PB&J, or a classic turkey sandwich on the menu.
Sweet Side
If you have a sweet tooth, the Sweet Side will be your favorite place. It offers a range of treats, from cupcakes and cookies to sorbets and treats that you will love. Breakfast is more pastry-focused, while dinner offerings center around cakes and cookies.
Grounds Club Too
Grounds Club Too is the specialty coffee and tea bar on Virgin Voyages. The baristas at the station mix a range of hot and cold beverages, from espresso and cappuccino to matcha and loose-leaf tea.
These specialty drinks are sold at a price. The general coffee and tea stand (coffee carafes and teabags) is included in the cruise fare.
Virgin Voyages Restaurants – Additional Options
The Sun Club Café
The Sun Club Café is the poke bar on Virgin Voyages. It cooks up bao buns and other fun sides. This eatery is only open a few hours of the day, so check the app!
Lick Me Till… Ice Cream
Lick Me Till… Ice Cream, the ice cream stand on deck 7. You can choose from many different flavors from vanilla and chocolate to salted caramel and pistachio. You can also get some toppings, cones, and cups to customize your ice cream.
Enjoy some ice cream after a long, hot day at Bimini Beach Club. Yum!
Grounds Club
Located near the roundabout on deck 7, Grounds Club is another spot where you can order specialty coffees. This Grounds Club even serves Espresso Martin!
Grounds Club is designed like a traditional coffee shop. You’ll typically see some sailors working on their laptops during sea days.
